## 1.25.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — After a note is saved, a small window shows it and counts down. A click opens it in the Notes app or in Sinthex Flow.
- **New** — A new install starts with the result window fixed at the top center in the large size, notes kept in the Notes app, the widget following the pointer, history kept for 7 days, and launch at login. No API key is included.

## 1.24.5 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — When notes are kept in the Notes app, the menu bar item opens Notes at that folder and shows the latest note.

## 1.24.4 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — A note request with a question saves the model’s answer. The selection is the context and is not stored itself.

## 1.24.3 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — Recognized text is inserted again. A note is saved only for a short save phrase when text is selected.

## 1.24.2 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — Saying save this as a note stores the selection in notes and does not open a result window.

## 1.24.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — A fixed top placement puts the result window at the top of the screen. Insert from that window types at the caret and closes it.

## 1.24.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — Changing a setting raises a short Saved toast from the bottom of the window.

## 1.23.2 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — The selected spot in the result-placement preview uses Sinthex violet.

## 1.23.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — With a selection, the choose-result window always asks whether it was a command or a reformulation.

## 1.23.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — Select text and say “save this to my notes”. The selection stays put. The menu chooses whether it lands in Sinthex Flow or in a folder of the Notes app.

## 1.22.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — The choose-result window no longer shows the widget. Each row can insert, copy, or save the text as a note.
- **New** — Notes open from the menu bar. You can add, edit, and delete them there.

## 1.21.3 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — The correction key is stored with Save. The old Paste button no longer overwrites what you typed.

## 1.21.2 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — API keys for Claude and Cursor are stored again. The model list could see the typed key, but commands still reported that none was entered.

## 1.21.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — If command mode is on but the selected correction has no API key, the spoken command is no longer pasted over the selection. A notice explains that the key is missing.

## 1.21.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — Dictation preview and command results can be pinned to a screen — the one under the pointer, or a specific display — and to a corner or edge you tap on a small preview.

## 1.20.2 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — The dictation preview no longer sits on the pointer or text caret: it stays at the parked widget place and moves aside if it would cover the mouse.

## 1.20.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Improvement** — After a successful insert, the dictation preview closes immediately — no countdown bar. The window grows with the recognized text, from a short word up to the maximum size.

## 1.20.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — The floating widget can be turned on or off and is off by default — the menu bar is enough. Finer options and close delays live under Advanced; the dictation preview closes one second after a successful insert by default.

## 1.19.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — After an update, Sinthex Flow starts again reliably: the progress window no longer blocks the relaunch.
- **Improvement** — The update window again shows the dark brand gradient with the mark instead of a plain white system card.

## 1.19.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — After dictation, a small window shows the full recognized text and then whether it was inserted or only copied. You can turn it off in Settings.
- **Improvement** — History retention is finer: hours, one or two days, and short lists of 1, 5, 10, or 25 entries.
- **Improvement** — The “Rewrite selected text” switch is gone from Settings; commands stay under Commands and Style.

## 1.18.2 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — API keys for ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor are stored separately, so switching provider no longer clears your OpenAI key. Claude and Cursor only offer models from the API after you paste a key.

## 1.18.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Improvement** — Controls in Settings share one right edge.
- **Improvement** — Opening the menu bar checks online for an update and offers it there when one is ready.

## 1.18.0 — 9 October 2026

- **Improvement** — For a command on the selection, the widget briefly shows what is happening — for example Summarizing or Translating.
- **Improvement** — With “At the pointer”, recording and the result sit at the pointer and stay on screen; afterwards the widget returns.
- **New** — In Settings you can hide the widget permanently: it appears only while you hold the key and during processing or a result.

## 1.17.1 — 9 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — The update window runs as its own process: it appears only after Flow has quit, and closes when Flow starts again.

## 1.17.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — Besides ChatGPT you can use Claude (Anthropic) and Cursor as correction models. The model list comes from each API.
- **Improvement** — The command window closes after 15 seconds on its own, unless the pointer is over it. You set the time in Settings; a colored bar shows the countdown.
- **Improvement** — With “At the pointer”, the widget appears next to the mouse pointer while you dictate, not only on the same screen.

## 1.16.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — In Settings you set recognition quality: the Whisper model, or Whistle decoder depth.
- **Bugfix** — After an update, the Keychain no longer asks for the login password for the correction key.
- **Improvement** — While an update runs, a small window with a progress spinner shows that installation is in progress.

## 1.15.0 — 9 October 2026

- **New** — In Settings you can choose Whistle beside Whisper: a tiny on-device speech model for seven languages.

## 1.14.0 — 6 October 2026

- **New** — In Settings you choose the size of the result window (S, M, or L).
- **New** — With a short selection, Sinthex Flow detects whether you mean a command or a reformulation of the text.
- **New** — When both are possible, a choice opens above the widget: result as a command or as a reformulation.

## 1.13.0 — 6 October 2026

- **New** — In Settings you can choose whether the widget follows the pointer’s screen while you dictate, or stays where you put it.
- **Bugfix** — With more than one display, the widget no longer jumps to another spot on the main screen when you activate Sinthex Flow from a different screen.

## 1.12.0 — 6 October 2026

- **New** — Correction can use several models in order: ChatGPT and any number of your own APIs, drag to set the order, and fallback can be turned off.
- **New** — Commands on selected text with no input field open the result above the widget, instead of pasting into nowhere.
- **Bugfix** — After inserting, the previous clipboard comes back — including images, not only text.

## 1.11.2 — 4 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — After an update, macOS no longer asks for the Keychain password for the OpenAI key.
- **Improvement** — No separate “Count this Mac” switch. Update checks send a hash of the hardware ID with the version number, and Sinthex counts Macs from that.
- **Bugfix** — Whisper no longer leaves stray quotation marks or a period on a single spoken word.
- **Bugfix** — After a short pause, recognition stays fast: Whisper is warmed for real again instead of skipping on silence.

## 1.11.1 — 2 October 2026

- **Bugfix** — After inserting, Sinthex Flow restores the previous clipboard — including in apps like Cursor that report Accessibility incompletely.
- **Bugfix** — Silence and noise no longer produce invented text — neither loops like “Das, mein…” nor a trailing “Vielen Dank”.

## 1.11.0 — 1 October 2026

- **New** — If inserting into a text field fails, the previous clipboard contents stay in History. After a successful insert, the clipboard is what it was before.
- **Improvement** — Single history entries can be deleted, including from the menu bar.

## 1.10.0 — 29 September 2026

- **New** — On first launch Sinthex Flow tells Sinthex, once, that this Mac exists, as a hash of the hardware ID. You can switch that off in Settings.
- **New** — In Settings you can choose how long history is kept and how many entries are stored at most.
- **Bugfix** — The Clear history button stays on one line.

## 1.9.3 — 29 September 2026

- **Improvement** — Command mode has its own Commands tab with nine examples, from translating and summarizing to turning notes into an email.
- **Other** — Flow is now called Sinthex Flow. The app, the installer and the data folder carry the new name too, and the update moves everything over.

## 1.9.2 — 29 September 2026

- **Bugfix** — Learn from edits no longer puts quotes, periods, and other punctuation into dictionary entries.

## 1.9.1 — 28 September 2026

- **Bugfix** — An update replaces the app in the background and starts it again. The package installer stays closed.

## 1.9.0 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — Sinthex Flow downloads a newer build on its own, replaces the app, and starts again. Whisper, settings, and history stay.

## 1.8.1 — 28 September 2026

- **Improvement** — The menu-bar menu shows the version number at the bottom.

## 1.8.0 — 28 September 2026

- **Improvement** — While you are recording, the menu-bar icon is orange.
- **New** — When an update is ready, the menu bar also shows a small arrow pointing up.

## 1.7.0 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — Sinthex Flow checks the product page for a newer build. If one is there, you download the installer and replace the app in Applications. Whisper, settings, and history stay.

## 1.6.4 — 28 September 2026

- **Other** — The product page shows the current version and the latest versions with new capabilities. The full changelog is on its own page. Each entry is marked as new, an improvement, a bugfix, or other.

## 1.6.3 — 28 September 2026

- **Bugfix** — An instruction on selected text writes the text you asked for. If only a keyword from the sentence comes back, Sinthex Flow inserts the spoken sentence.

## 1.6.2 — 28 September 2026

- **Bugfix** — Whisper starts again.
- **Improvement** — Restart keeps watching until recognition is ready or the error is shown.
- **Improvement** — For correction you choose ChatGPT or your own model.

## 1.6.1 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — Selected text becomes the instruction. Sinthex Flow reads the selection and replaces it, for example with a summary. The widget shows that while it happens.

## 1.6.0 — 28 September 2026

- **Improvement** — Recognized text is inserted sooner.
- **Improvement** — Fn starts the next recording while “Inserted” is still showing.
- **Improvement** — Other audio can be muted or just lowered.
- **Improvement** — While recording, the menu bar keeps the Sinthex Flow icon in orange.

## 1.5.1 — 28 September 2026

- **Bugfix** — The widget shrinks again after dictation, even if the pointer was over it.

## 1.5.0 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — The dictionary reads left to right: what was recognized, then the correct form.
- **New** — Single words are weighted.
- **New** — Short edits of inserted text are added on their own.

## 1.4.1 — 28 September 2026

- **Improvement** — The widget can be moved down to the screen edge and against the Dock.

## 1.4.0 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — While you dictate, Sinthex Flow mutes other audio. That is on by default and can be turned off in Settings and in the menu bar.

## 1.3.3 — 28 September 2026

- **Other** — The product page ships with llms.txt, Markdown versions, a sitemap, and structured data. An FAQ answers common questions for search and AI assistants.

## 1.3.2 — 28 September 2026

- **New** — Settings separate speech recognition and correction. OpenAI stays the default. Your own API address and key apply to a local or other model.

## 1.3.1 — 27 September 2026

- **New** — The interface ships in the official languages of Europe, including regional ones such as Catalan, Basque, Gaelic, and Romansh.

## 1.3.0 — 27 September 2026

- **New** — Correction takes your own API address and key. A local or other model works that way.

## 1.2.0 — 27 September 2026

- **New** — The interface follows the system language. German stays German. Any other language uses a matching language file, otherwise English.
- **New** — Further languages are JSON files. Sinthex Flow reads them at launch from the app and from the Sinthex Flow folder.

## 1.1.0 — 27 September 2026

- **Other** — The app identity and the Keychain entry are de.sinthex.flow. An existing OpenAI key is copied across once.
- **New** — Installer for the Mac. The app then lives in the Applications folder.
- **New** — Sinthex Flow recommends the newest fast correction model available to your key. You can pin a different model.
- **New** — The style follows the frontmost app, and you can change it for each app.
- **Improvement** — The OpenAI key can be pasted from the clipboard.
- **Improvement** — Recognition is prepared as soon as you press the Fn key.

## 1.0.0 — 27 September 2026

- **New** — First public release under the MIT license: dictation in the menu bar, Whisper on the Mac, correction optional.
